Celebrity Apprentice starts Sunday. Will you be watching?

After a long hiatus a local version of The Apprentice is back.

Remember when Mark Bouris used to be the host?

Yes, that’s Anthony Callea and The Veronicas.

The cast includes Martha from MAFS, Shaynna Blaze from The Block (and formerly Selling Houses Australia – great show) and the Golden God of Australian Survivor, David Genat. So Martha will be in a time slot up against her own mum, Mary, who is in the Big Brother house – her screen time mostly consists of get cooking and proclaiming “I’ve got carpal tunnel”.

The blurb says:
Twelve Aussie celebrities will do whatever it takes to impress their new boss, self-made British billionare, Lord Alan Sugar.

But one by one, they will be fired. Who’s got what it takes to win the prize money for their chosen charity?

Celebrity Apprentice starts Sunday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

  1. I enjoyed Ross Noble being the voice of reason in his confessionals when his team was faffing over a name. And David being so miffed at Shaynna overlooking him. Odd choice for Janine to be the mentor for David’s team given their Survivor history

  2. I am watching but from last night’s episode it was clear that the editing is dishonest- reactions are taken out of context. It’s false and manipulative and shows the shallow intelligence of these producers: the public must have a villain. That is more of the mantra for non-creative types than the public.

  3. No, it has never been my cup of tea, and I am disappointed that this show has pushed The Weakest Link into the post-9pm wilderness.

  4. I’ve just tuned into the replay because I forgot this was on, they’re entering office for fire time. At a glance don’t know most of these ‘celebs’.

  5. I watched it, these are folk that are apprentices at bring a celebrity.

Okay , you have gazillions of followers. So have Collingwood.

Lord Sugar. Good name….. for a horse

  6. I missed CA Sunday night but watched tonight’s, flipping between Big Brother and CA.

That lady really was a goose calling it Mother and making it all about her fashion house. She obviously couldn’t get Barry Humphries. She had no idea of how to stick to a brief. She was only saved because the spruiker was even more clueless than she was.

  7. I just felt so sorry for Ross Noble, being trapped with those lunatics. And he tried to apologise and she wouldn’t listen. Hopefully they have a team shakeup soon or the next episode will be rather awkward.
I tend to thing the BridgeClimb team would always win, purely because that’s a big ticket experience

    • That woman is vile snd completely self obsessed. Was hilarous viewing tho ‘you called me … on national TV’ 🤣🤣

  8. Raw dumplings win the challenge tonight. Hard to swallow such a sugar coated result but they made more profit than those who produced “restaurant quality” dumplings. Great to see people at least wearing gloves playing with food. Ma$terchef can only dream of such levels of hygiene. Inedible food, albeit prepared cleanly. The blonde mentor gagged on her dumpling. Hawk the pork.

Ross and Camilla appear to have buried the hatchet tonight.

    • I thought it was clever that they read the brief accurately; like when you read an exam question properly. It was a cunning plan.

BTW, will Lord Sugar run for President of America? He’s brutal. Those three women were visibly shaken. Serves them right for serving restaurant quality dumplings.

  9. Show-wise it had to be Anthony last night.

People in this show must end up hating each other.

  10. The editing is so disjointed – the close-up reactions don’t match the long shots. So there IS a lot of manipulation. Plus are the producers of the show the managers for Martha? Not sure why she is the narrator of this show and the one being saved.

  11. So, no one fired, two going tonight… has to be Veronicas no? Why else. Ole sugar’s reasoning last night should have been used for the dumpling challenge.
Shaynna must be on the big bucks, she gave up selling houses. And, despite being up for firing 3-4 times she still on screen, earning that paycheck.

  12. Why do they have the same tradie for both teams? They did the same in the first episode with the plasterer. The first team he goes to hogs him & won’t let him go to the other team. They either need to give them separate tradies. Or limit them to 1 or 2 hours depending on what they have to do with one team then go go the other team for 1 or 2 hours. That would be fair. But that fucking ending. Making us wait till fucking SUNDAY to find out which other person gets fired. Arrrrrggggghhhh

    • It was the Martha show until tonight, she really did herself in begging for the position in the finale saying how good an opportunity it would be for her and completely disregarding her charity.

      • And that really ugly comment to Shayna that she already had a career? As though she should apologise?
If you want a career, learn how to say Strategy properly – it’s not SHtrategy. Also a bit of voice modulation wouldn’t hurt – the schreech factor is high in this one.

Can one still be critical and not be a bully?

    • Ross Noble was a genius with his cursed sand patter. What would Martha have done with the sand? Scrub? And I never knew linen spray was a thing but now I like the idea of lemon-scented sheets. With the ice cream challenge the other night, was Wippa still sick? I noticed he was not serving the food and he was rather subdued. Who would have thought Ross would beat Wippa to the final.

  13. Now that Martha’s gone maybe I’ll watch the finale. She should have gone in week 1.
Definitely rigged to keep her to get their money’s worth.
The money is on Shayna to win but I would be happy if it was Ross.

  14. I hope whatever Ross is doing for his finale event works out because right now I am very confused!
Is he just doing huge scale escape room?

  15. Shayna did win. The bookies are rarely wrong.
Still, it is all for a good cause and she got the charity bags of money.
And in line with her charity, I see that Ben Roberts-Smith hired a PI to follow his girlfriend to make sure she had that abortion and in the same breath says that he was brought up to respect women. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😝

  16. I’ve been meaning to complain about the not-so Lordly Lord Sugar’s use of the redundant word amount every week when he said, quote; ” whoever raises the most amount….”.
Poor Woolif kept rolling over in his recliner chair.
